True Or False

1 The New Covenant made the first covenant "old"

2 Chapter 8 transitions us from the superiority of Jesus as High Priest to the fact that the High Priest is the "Mediator" also of a new Covenant. The old covenant was based on Man doing the works of The Law of Moses. Then New Covenant was based of God planting his word in our hearts by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. .In the old Covenant Israel "continued not in my covenant". This means that they did not do the works. But now We live by faith in Jesus and the Covenant is not dependant on the works but it is written in our hearts. christ indwells the believer

3 The First covenant was based on ordinances and divine service in a tabernacle on earth. The second covenant was also a service by the High Priest but in the perfect Tabernacle in heaven

4 The First covenant was based of the sacrifice and shedding of the blood of goats and calves but the New covenant is based on the sacrifice and shedding of Blood of Jesus

5 The First covenant was based on the High Priest offering the blood for himself and the people once every year. The New covenant was based on the offering of Jesus own blood once only in the holy place

6 The First covenant could not make perfect the conscience of the person offering the sacrifice. The New covenant was able to purge our conscience from dead works so we have eternal inheritance

Verdadero o Falso
