Life if meaningless according to Solomon. He states that since life has not meaning ther is noting better than.a man to eat and drink and enjoy his labor
God gave man time and there is a time to every purpose under heaven
God gave man time, and put eternity in man's heart. but man cannot understand eternity because God did not tell him
What God does is forever and man cannot add to it or take away from it.
The wicked and the righteous both faced Judgement
God made man to see that he is like the beasts in that the beasts die and go to the ground like man
The problem is that time continues . But after death Solomon does not know if man's spirit goes up or if beasts go down

Según Salomón, la vida carece de sentido. Él afirma que, como la vida no tiene sentido, no hay nada mejor que un hombre que coma, beba y disfrute de su trabajo.
Dios le dio al hombre tiempo, y todo lo que se quiere bajo el cielo tiene su tiempo.
Dios le dio tiempo al hombre y puso la eternidad en su corazón. Pero el hombre no puede comprender la eternidad porque Dios no se lo dijo.

Dios creó al hombre para que viera que es como las bestias, pues estas mueren y van a la tierra como el hombre.
El problema es que el tiempo continúa. Pero después de la muerte, Salomón no sabe si el espíritu del hombre asciende o si las bestias descienden.
